Hari ini, 4 Juli di Amerika Serikat merayakan Hari Kemerdekaan nya. Merupakan hari libur federal untuk mengenang sejarah dari Deklarasi Kemerdekaan pada 4 Juli, 1776, dimana saat itu adalah saat dinyatakannya kemerdekaan dari Kerajaan Inggris. Di Hari Kemerdekaan ini, masyarakat merayakannya dengan berbagai acara meriah, diantaranya dengan kembang api, parade, barbeque, karnaval, pameran, piknik, konser, baseball game, pidato politik dan upacara, dan berbagai lainnya.
